WHAT IS A DIETITIAN?
A dietitian is an allied health professional who has completed 4-5 years of study in the field of nutrition and dietetic science. Dietitian's are qualified to use diet and nutrition as a tool to manage health conditions and help you find balance when it comes to your eating.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AN APPOINTMENT?
During your initial appointment we will chat about your goals, habits, lifestyle and medical history. This is a time for us to get to know each other and come up with a plan that suits you as an individual.

During a review appointment we will discuss what is and/or is not working for you, track your progress, answer any questions and continue to to build the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your goals.
CAN I USE PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
Yes. I would recommend you contact your insurer to confirm your policy includes dietetic cover, then you are good to go.
AM I COVERED BY MEDICARE?
Medicare, in some cases, will cover a portion of the cost of seeing a dietitian. Chat to your GP if you would like to know more.
